Job Description:
Position: Chemist
Responsibility:
- Experimentation & Analysis: Conduct chemical tests, synthesize compounds, and analyze the physical and chemical properties of organic or inorganic materials.
- Method & Product Development: Design, optimize, and validate analytical methods, production formulas, or laboratory equipment.
- Instrumentation & Testing: Operate specialized lab instruments such as gas chromatography (GC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and mass spectrometry.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Perform QC tests on raw materials and finished goods, monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or ISO standards, and maintain calibration logs.
- Documentation & Reporting: Record experimental data accurately, write technical reports, prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), and present findings to project teams.
- Safety & Lab Maintenance: Handle hazardous materials properly, dispose of waste according to legal guidelines, clean equipment, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Experience: 0 year – 2 years
Qualification: B.SC (Chemistry)
Salary: 2 LPA – 3 LPA
Location: Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly
