Junior Detailer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Detailer to support the Tekla team in structural steel detailing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tekla, knowledge of AISC standards, and a proper understanding of welding and bolting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop structural steel detailing drawings/models using Tekla
• Apply AISC standards and project requirements while carrying out detailing work.
• Create and review detailing information related to welding and bolting.
• Coordinate detailing requirements with the production/project team.
• Check drawings/models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
• Incorporate required revisions and maintain detailing quality as per project requirements.

Primary Skills Required

• Knowledge of AISC standards.
• Proper knowledge of welding and bolting.
• Experience working with the latest versions of Tekla.

Secondary / Preferred Skills

• AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in structural steel detailing.
• Practical exposure to Tekla is required.
• Ability to understand structural drawings and detailing requirements.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a production/project environment.

• Educational qualification: B.Tech / BE in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
